Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 16, 2023! From 4:30 pm to 7 pm, witness the captivating procession of the Annual Lake Norman Lighted Christmas Boat Parade. Create unforgettable memories of the Lake Norman boat parade as you and your family gather along the shores of Lake Norman to partake in this mesmerizing spectacle.

 

On this night, choose from convenient public viewing locations such as Jetton Park, Ramsey Creek Park, or Duke Energy Emporium. Each offers great views of the parade and the opportunity to settle in for an evening of pure delight.

 

 

To fully immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere, join us as the Lake Norman Christmas boat parade kicks off at Blythe Landing Park at 5:30 pm, gliding around the lake, showcasing the charm of residential and commercial areas. The Lake Norman Lighted Christmas boat parade will head toward Ramsey Creek Park. Since the event has grown tremendously, after leaving Ramsey Creek Park, it will then go into a new cove at the Peninsula before ending at the Duke Energy Explorium.

 

The parks will remain open until 30 minutes after the passage of the final boat, allowing you to savor the spectacular celebration at each public park along the way. You will also have time to enjoy the festivities at the Duke Energy Explorium.

 

Following the captivating boat show at the various public stops, the parade will end around 7 pm at the Duke Energy Explorium. Here, attendees can pause, relax, and partake in the festivities. The venue will offer music, delectable food, refreshing drinks, and holiday-themed activities for children, including a Christmas backdrop for memorable photos and a chance to meet Santa!
